Description

MAGNAPing: Infrastructure Monitoring Made Easy takes the load off your shoulders and removes the uncertainty of whether your infrastructure is up and running or not. It monitors not only HTTP/HTTPS web sites! It can monitor many more services and technologies:

• FTP/SFTP servers
• UNC paths and network shares
• Database servers
• IP hosts

Every failure or timeout is logged, and a notification can be sent out via many different services and technologies:

• Common SMTP email
• SMS/MMS text messages
• Message queues
• Jabber XMPP chat rooms
• UNIX Syslog

The flexibility of MAGNAPing IMME comes from its plugin-based architecture. It supports a broad range of persistency and notification technologies through its plugins. The three basic plugins are bundled with MAGNAPing. They are Plain Text Persistency, Windows Event Log Persistency, and SMTP Email Notification plugins.
